Events in Spring

As you plan your spring getaway, here are some events to look forward to during warmer weekends.

Fruita hosts the Fat Tire Festival on May 2–4, 2025, one of the nation’s longest-running non-race mountain biking events. Spend three days riding trails or browsing outdoor gear downtown.

One of the biggest draws of our campground is its location near the Colorado National Monument. Explore Rim Rock Drive, more than a dozen hiking trails, mountain biking routes, and incredible scenic overlooks.
