Check-In & Check-Out Times
Know your check-in and check-out times before arriving. At Monument RV Resort, times vary based on your accommodation:
CABINS – Check-In/Out: 4pm/11am
CAMPSITES – Check-In/Out: 3pm/1pm
If you plan to arrive late, call 970-858-4405 or email Fruita@HLParks.com to make arrangements. Early and extended access may be available for a small fee, but does not guarantee site access—only facility access.

Camping Checklist
Beyond the basics like clothing, sunscreen, and snacks, here are handy items campers often forget, whether you’re in a cabin, RV, or tent:
- Marshmallow/Hot Dog Roasting Forks: Great for campfire nights.
- Water Bottles: Bring reusable ones and fill up on-site.
- Bug Spray: A must for evenings outdoors.
- Towels: Bring shower, pool, and dish towels.
- Raincoat/Umbrella: Weather can change quickly.
- Lawn Chairs: Or blankets for lounging around the site.

Camping With Pets
Bring your furry friends along when staying in a pet-friendly cabin or RV site. Cabin guests must bring a crate for pets left unattended. Always clean up after pets and pack food, treats, and extra bags.

Locking In Your Site
Locking in your cabin or campsite guarantees the exact site number you booked. Without locking in, you’ll receive the same site type but not the exact number.
- When to lock in:
- You’re camping with a group and want to be next to each other.
- You prefer a specific site location.
- When to not lock in:
- You don’t mind the exact location as long as the site type matches.
If you’d like to lock in your site later, call 970-858-4405 or email Fruita@HLParks.com.

Parking
Parking is limited to one car per site. Additional vehicles require a small fee and may need to be parked elsewhere.
